What to expect

Set off for Ayutthaya in the morning from Bangkok by coach, visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, Wat MahaThat, Wat Phrasrisanphet and Wihan Phramongkhon Bopit in ancient Ayutthaya Historical Park. Board your cruise in the afternoon where international lunch buffet will be served while you may relax and enjoy the fascinating scenery on the River of Kings. You will pass Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun before reaching the pier in Bangkok.

    Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok (depending on the hotel location) and transfer to the River Shopping Complex

    Check in at River City – Counter No. 2 ” Grand Pearl Cruise”

    Depart Bangkok to Ayutthaya by an Air-Conditioned Coach.

  • 09:00

    Arrive Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, a former royal palace built since Ayuthaya period in early 17th century. However, the Palace was destroyed with the fall of Kingdom of Ayutthaya and was restored by King Rama IV in the mid-19th century. Most of the buildings that exist today date from the reign of King Rama V, who regularly spent his summers there. The structures represent a variety of architectural styles, set in a large park around ponds and waterways. The only royal residence open to the public is the Chiness-style Wehat Chamroon Palace, constructed entirely of materials imported from China.

    Transfer to Ayutthaya, a World Heritage City and historic capital of Thailand. Visit Wat Mahatad, the royal monastery, served as the residence of supreme monk. Wat Phrasrisanphet, the largest and most important temple. Its was used as a residential palace. and Wihan Phramongkhon Bophit, the large bronze Buddha image was originally enshrined in the open area outside the grand palace and later covered by a building called Wihan.

    Welcome on board the luxurious Grand Pearl Cruise Liner at Wat Chong-lom Pier (Nonthaburi). Buffet lunch with delightful variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served on board, while you may enjoy the fascinating scenery on the River of Kings. The cruiser will then head towards Nonthaburi, past Koh Kred, The monn community before reaching Bangkok city.

    Coffee break will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sight along Chao Phraya River such as The Rama VIII Bridge, the Royal Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun.

  • 16:00

    Arrive at the River City Shopping Complex Pier and transfer back to your hotel.
